2019 Around The World Cultural Food Festival

8/17 | Freedom Plaza | 11am – 7pm

We are taking you on a day trip around the world and present you the cuisine, culture and traditions of over 40 countries participating on the event. Ethnic arts & crafts, small businesses and non-profit organizations will also be present at the festival!

So, come join us for a full day of culture, art, food and dancing!

Runway for a Cure DC’s mission is to celebrate the lives of Breast Cancer Survivors, encourage family and friends of those affected by Breast Cancer, and to give back to individuals or organizations who support Breast Cancer Research, Awareness, and Survivors!

Ticket purchases are tax deductible, as we are a non-profit who donates to Breast Cancer causes.


The Custard Chase!

Folks! After the smashing success of last year’s Taco Mile, we’re back at it with another food-based running challenge. What sounds better in the hot, steamy, dog days of summer than ice-cold custard? YUM.

This event is open to runners of all ages and fitness levels, families with strollers, & future Olympians.


Yoga in the Garden

8/17 | U.S. Botanic Garden | 10:30am – 11:30am

Come flow at the Garden with this free yoga gathering, led by WithLoveDC. These classes aim to create an accessible space for all people to tune into their breath while enjoying the natural beauty in the Garden.

Please note: This program is first-come, first-served with limited space available. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own mats.
