Yoga in the Great Hall

10/19 | Folger Shakespeare Library | 9am – 10am

Image may contain: 2 people, people sitting and indoor

In Tudor England, spaces like the Folger Shakespeare Library’s extraordinary Great Hall were designed for socializing and exercise. Join yoga instructor Jen DeMayo for an all-level Vinyasa yoga class in this “Tudor-deco” space.

During the 50-minute class, students will be guided in breath and flowing movement carefully paired with Shakespearean sonnet readings. Participants should bring their own yoga mat and dress in comfortable clothing that allows movement.
